Volunteer with Us
"Volunteers are not paid not because they are worthless, but because they are priceless"
The Animal Welfare League of the Northern Neck, Inc. is an all volunteer organization. We welcome and need volunteers for a few hours a week or a month in our Thrift Shop. Working in the thrift shop is fun and a way to meet other AWL volunteers. Help sell all of the wonderful donations to raise money for the animal welfare. Our customers are the best and so is our merchandise!
Can't commit to a specific volunteer schedule? Then perhaps you can offer ad hoc services and be someone we can call for periodic needs.
Do you have a truck for picking up large donations?
Can you run an errand or make a couple of phone calls?
Would you assist a fostering volunteer with dog walking, vet appointment, or temporary pet sitting?
Coordinate humane education outreach with the schools?
Do you have talents such as photography, marketing, accounting, desktop publishing, legal services, carpentry, painting, sign making, grant writing, or talents we haven't thought of
Consider joining a dedicated group of people who believe and support the mission of the Animal Welfare League of the Northern Neck, Inc.
