1). "FEED ME, TOO!" A joint endeavor with Healthy Harvest Food Bank. AWL will provide the food, the food BANKS will distribute dog and cat food to food bank members through 21 NN food banks. This starts in May. Watch for the press release later in April.

2). "UNLEASHED" FASHION SHOW. Fashion show and luncheon will be held on June 16 at Indian Creek Yacht and Country Club. Check our social media posts and here in May for more detail

3). "DOG GONE DOG SHOW" The Dog Gone Dog Show has been scheduled for October 9 at the Irvington Commons.

Animal Welfare League offers Spay/Neuter Rebates
Spay Day USA occurs in February each year. The Animal Welfare League of the Northern Neck offers a 50 dollar spay/neuter rebate program in recognition of Spay Day USA and World Spay Day in February. The rebate program applies to permanent residents of Lancaster, Northumberland, Richmond and Westmoreland counties. Local Papers will have the detail on dates in February. All spays and neuters must be done on and between these dates.

The rebate program, does not exceed $50 per dog or cat. The rebate applies only to sterilization surgery charges. No other services are covered. Send paid receipt (no paperwork required) to:
PO Box 975, White Stone, VA 22578 postmarked no later than June 15, 2021.
